From voter registration drives to our impactful youth mentoring programs, turkey and bicycle giveaways that spread joy, and our commitment to STEM education, we are agents of positive change in the heart of Orlando.
But our impact goes beyond events; it's about making a lasting difference. Through our programs, we extend a helping hand to talented young minds, providing financial assistance that opens doors to brighter futures. Each year, our fraternity allocates at least $20,000 to invest in the potential of the next generation.
In addition to our commitment to education and empowerment, Chi Tau takes a proactive stance on health initiatives. We coordinate various programs that promote good health practices, including the Charles Drew Blood Drive and our meaningful partnership with the American Diabetes Association.

History
The establishment of Chi Tau Chapter began in 1960 when Mr. Cecil Boston, the principal of Jones High School, invited Judge Lawson E. Thomas to be their commencement speaker for that year's graduating class. Mr. Boston invited a group of Omega Men to a reception for Bro. Thomas, and from this meeting brothers C.J. Manigault, William V. Nixon, Robert L. Howard, Willie B. Pete, Paul K. Tisdale, Ernest Niblack, Johnny L. Toney, Robert W. Hunt, Willie G. Holt, and G.H. Jones met at Murchison Terrace Housing Office for several months to organize and obtain a charter. In March of 1961 at Shiloh Baptist Church, through the perseverance of these Omega Men, Chi Tau Chapter was founded. The chapter received its charter on January 8, 1962. Today there are over 130 active members in the chapter that have made and demonstrated a commitment to serve the communities within Orlando.
